Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Azam Swati’s post-arrest bail appeal in a sedition case for tweeting against state institutions was deferred on Monday.
IHC chief justice Amir Farooq heard Azam Swati’s post-arrest bail petition. In the bail, the petitioner pleaded that he didn’t insult state institutions. The petitioner named the FIA cybercrime wing and federation as respondents. IHC postponed the hearing until January 2, 2023.
