Former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry has announced to file reference against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
While referring towards Article 260 of the Constitution, he said Nawaz Sharif was disqualified to remain prime minister for he was no longer ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’.
“The prime minister did not state that how did he transferred his money abroad or how did he make investment in a foreign country,” he said.
He said if the ruling party had invested in foreign country through legal way then there was no need to hide it. He said reference regarding disqualification of the PM would be sent to Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq.
Pakistan Muslim League-N on Friday filed reference against Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan.
