The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), a state-owned electricity distribution firm, provides services to both domestic and commercial customers within its designated areas. Customers looking to establish a new electricity connection can easily apply through LESCO’s streamlined online process.

To initiate a new connection, applicants should visit LESCO’s official site at http://www.enc.com.pk/ and complete the online application form. The form requires details such as the National Tax Number (NTC), type of connection, CNIC number, anticipated minimum load, and the address of the premises.

The standard fee for a new single-phase meter connection is approximately Rs7,240. However, prices vary, and customers are encouraged to verify the exact cost with the nearest LESCO office. Due to varying operational costs, fees in some Lahore subdivisions may range between Rs18,000 and Rs25,000 during the winter season. Fees are subject to change, especially during the summer when electricity demand surges.

Step-by-Step Guide to Applying

  1. Visit the Application Link: Start by accessing the provided URL to reach the application page.
  2. Enter Required Information: Fill in all necessary details regarding your tax number, connection type, and personal identification.
  3. Property Details: Provide comprehensive information about the property where the connection will be installed.
  4. Document Upload: Complete the form by uploading all required supporting documents.
  5. Print Application: After submitting online, print out the application form.
  6. Attach Documents: Affix all necessary documents to the printed form.
  7. Submission: Hand in the full set of documents and the application form at the relevant LESCO office.
  8. Demand Notice: LESCO will review your submission and issue a demand notice outlining the payable amount.
  9. Payment: Make the payment at the designated bank and obtain a receipt.
  10. Receipt Submission: Provide a copy of the payment receipt to the corresponding LESCO office.
  11. Installation: Upon payment verification, LESCO will schedule the installation of your new electricity connection.

This systematic approach ensures transparency and efficiency in obtaining a new electricity connection with LESCO, catering to the growing needs of Lahore’s residents and businesses.
