Watch how Bushra Bibi’s container caught fire during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest.
During a major operation against PTI protesters in Islamabad’s Blue Area, a container used by former first lady Bushra Bibi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur caught fire.
The operation involved a robust response from security forces, during which several containers were set ablaze. Details indicate that one of the burned containers was transporting Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur. Police confirmed its use by them to access the protest site.
In an attempt to counteract the effects of security force shelling, protesters set trees on fire. Unfortunately, the fire spread uncontrollably and engulfed the container used by Bushra Bibi and Gandapur.
Authorities successfully cleared the Blue Area of PTI protesters following the incident. Reports confirmed that Bushra Bibi and Gandapur vacated the area together in the same vehicle.
Additionally, police stopped a vehicle carrying Gandapur’s security personnel. Islamabad’s Inspector General directed law enforcement to ensure that Bushra Bibi remained within the federal capital’s limits.

The operation stretched from Khyber Chowk to Kulsoom Plaza, involving nearly 1,500 personnel from the Punjab Police, Islamabad Police, and Rangers. The crackdown led to the arrest of over 450 PTI protesters.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had earlier authorized the police to manage the PTI protesters. He accused Bushra Bibi of instigating the chaos that resulted in significant loss of life and property in Islamabad, referring to her as ‘one woman’ behind the turmoil.
