After earning accolades in the Pakistani entertainment industry, actress Humaima Malik is making a name for herself the other side of the border. As she awaits the release of her Bollywood debut Raja Natwarlal opposite Emraan Hashmi, the actor shared she has a three-film contract with 3 Idiots filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra according to Indian Media reports.
“The first film is yet to begin, but I have already been signed up,” Humaima commented. “I guess, he is caught up with PK now,” she said about Chopra’s upcoming Aamir Khan-starrer film. Rumour has it that UTV Motion Pictures, the production company behind Raja Natwarlal, had gone back on their word of signing her for three films. Denying the news as conjecture, she said, “That’s not true. I have heard this before, but honestly, it’s all humbug. I have no issues with UTV or Emraan Hashmi. I was signed by UTV for only one film.”
With substantial work in Bollywood, Humaima feels like she has “already moved to India for good.” “There was a time when I used to juggle between London, Dubai and Pakistan. Now, India has become my second home,” she stated.
