Hezbollah issued a stern warning on Tuesday, threatening to intensify its attacks on Israel if the Israeli military does not cease its bombardments of Lebanon.
The warning highlighted the northern port city of Haifa as a potential target, alongside other Israeli cities that could face similar attacks. The threat was a direct response to what Hezbollah describes as “intensifying strikes” by Israel.
This escalation comes amidst a report from the Israeli military that Hezbollah had already launched 85 projectiles towards northern Israel. These attacks included not only Haifa but other significant locations as well, indicating a significant uptick in the scale and scope of Hezbollah’s military actions.
Hezbollah’s announcement reflects a potentially severe escalation in the ongoing conflict, signalling that more extensive areas of Israel might come under fire if the hostilities continue.
