The High Education Commission (HEC) has established another scholarship program for all Pakistanis, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
HEC has asked to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2023-24. The Hungarian government created Stipend Hungaricum to encourage international students to get bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees at top U.S. universities.

Categories of Scholarships
The scholarships are being offered in the following categories:
- Bachelor’s Degree – after 12 educational years
- Master’s Degree (One – Tier) – same as the above
- Master’s Degree – after 16 educational years
- Ph.D. Degree – after 17-18 educational years
How to apply for the Scholarship Program
- Applicants are required to apply through the Stipendium Hungaricum portal along with the HEC portal
- Applicants should carefully review the application guidelines before submitting their applications
- The portals are unavailable as of now. However, interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria (mentioned below) are advised to keep visiting the portals
The deadline to apply for Stipendium Hungaricum’s Scholarship Program is the 16th of January, 2023.
