The Met Office forecasts a return of hot to very hot weather across most parts of the country this week. From June 20 to June 24, temperatures are expected to rise gradually nationwide.
The weather forecast predicts an increase of four to six degrees Celsius in Upper and Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan. In Sindh, Southern Punjab, and Balochistan, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) anticipates a rise of two to four degrees Celsius.
Amid the heat, dust storms, thunderstorms, and sporadic rainfall are expected in various mountainous regions and plains.
The Sindh Provincial Weather Department predicts the return of hot to very hot weather in districts of central and upper Sindh, with daytime maximum temperatures potentially soaring to 45-47 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather report, districts such as Dadu, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Noshehro Feroz, and Shaheed Benazirabad are likely to experience very hot weather.
However, the coastal areas of Sindh may witness partly cloudy weather with the possibility of drizzles during the night or early morning.
