Karachi Kings’ fast bowler Hasan Ali set a new record on Friday, becoming the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) highest wicket-taker. He surpassed former Peshawar Zalmi pacer Wahab Riaz, claiming his 114th wicket.
Hasan reached this remarkable milestone during Karachi Kings’ clash with Quetta Gladiators, dismissing batter Hasan Nawaz. He secured this achievement in just 84 innings, compared to Wahab Riaz’s 113 wickets in 87.

Debuting in the PSL in 2016, Hasan Ali quickly gained popularity due to his speed, unique bowling variations, and ability to break crucial partnerships. He rose to international prominence as the Player of the Tournament in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, helping Pakistan secure victory over India in the final.
