Pakistani athlete Haider Ali from Gujranwala secured a bronze medal at the Paralympics with a season-best throw of 52.54 meters in the Men’s Discus Throw final. The event took place in Paris.
Haider’s opening throw measured 52.28 meters. His subsequent attempts—second through fifth—were unsuccessful.
Haider matched his season’s second-best in his sixth and final throw with 52.54 meters.
