Within hours after former mayor Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal lambasted the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, wall-chalking supporting him appeared in different areas of the metropolis.
Fans of Mustafa Kamal spray painted slogans in the favour of former Nazim on the walls in various areas. “Mustafa Kamal aur Anees Qaimkhani qadam barhao hum tumhary sath hain”, ‘Welcome Mustafa Kamal’ and ‘Long Live Mustafa Kamal’ appeared on the walls of the city.
Several area people warmly welcomed Syed Mustafa Kamal and hoped that he would bring the ‘colors of Karachi back’ and make it a modern city.
Meanwhile, security of the residence of Mustafa Kamal has been beefed up in Karachi. CCTV cameras have been installed and barbed wires have been erected.
At least five police personnel have been assigned guard duties by the government at the residence of Anees Qaimkhani located at Hali road, Hyderabad.
Accompanied by Anees Qaimkhani, the former mayor earlier yesterday announced a new political party and accused MQM leaders of having links with Indian intelligence agencies.
He blamed Altaf Hussain for forcing him and Qaimkhani to quit MQM, saying Altaf has long been spreading lies. “The entire nation regards MQM workers and leaders as agents of RAW.
All of them have become RAW agents in the eyes of the nation due to just one person.
