Government decides to reduce CNG prices

The government has decided to cut the prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

According to sources, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is currently working on a proposal to reduce sales price of CNG upto  23 percent.

The sources also added that the notification regarding reduction in CNG prices will be implemented as  soon as Petroleum Ministry issue the notification.

On the other hand, an OGRA officials, the decision to reduce the CNG prices has already been taken.

OGRA official also added that, CNG will slashed by Rs.17.63 per kilogram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Balochistan  and new price will  Rs.58.72/kg.

Similarly, the gas prices has been proposed to cut down by Rs.16.11/kg in Sindh and Punjab, which comes to Rs.55.39/kg.
