Govenor orders inquiry in the Sea View tragedy, CM announces aid package

Sindh Governor Dr.Ishrat-ul-Ibad has  already ordered an inquiry into sea view tragedy  and also ordered a probe against those guilty of negligence in the mass drowning incident.

 Chief minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has announced compensation for victims of the sea views mass drowning incidents which claimed 38 lives.

CM Sindh and Governor Sindh also lauded the efforts of Pakistan Navy personnel who have been participating in the search and rescue operation.

On the other hand, CM Sindh has announced a 10 Lac rupee compensation package for the families of the victims of incident.

Owner of Bahria Town, Malik Riaz also announced an aid package worth Rs. 10 Lac per family.

U.N representative in Pakistan, Abdullah Hussain Haroon has termed Sindh Government ‘responsible’ for the tragedy saying that the delay in holding local government elections disabled the city administration to act properly which resulted in such a tragic incident.
