Google Search, renowned for its spell-check capability, is expanding into grammar correction. Recently, Google launched an AI-powered grammar-checking tool. Users can activate it by typing sentences into the search bar followed by phrases like “grammar check”. After the review, a “Grammar Check” section appears, indicating corrections or confirming correct grammar.
However, this feature is limited to English and avoids checking sentences containing sensitive content like; harmful, harassing hateful, medical or violent content. The tool is optimized for individual sentences, although it occasionally handles two short ones.
While this addition enhances Google Search, it isn’t intended to rival extensive platforms like Grammarly. Recently, Google also introduced inline sources in SGE, improved Chrome’s search experience, and offered new privacy tools.
