Bollywood’s legendary singer, Kishore Kumar has received Google doodle tribute on his 85th birth anniversary.
The doodle shows a smiling face of the legendary singer.
Kumar was known for his versatility and charismatic screen presence. He started his career as a chorus singer at Bombay Talkies. He made his Bollywood debut with Shikari, which released in 1946.
He won many awards for his songs. ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’, ‘Pag Ghunghroo Bandh’ and ‘Roop Tera Mastana’ are some of his most memorable and most popular songs.
He was also a phenomenal actor, composer, lyricist, script writer and director and will always be remembered for his role in films like Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and Padosan.
The legendary singer passed away on October 13, 1987.
