Google Calendar has enhanced its “working locations” feature, enabling users to specify their work location at different times during the day. Previously, users could only set their working location for specific days of the week. However, with the latest update, users can now indicate their location throughout the day for more accurate availability.
This feature proves particularly valuable for hybrid or remote work environments, as it facilitates coordinating in-person collaborations or video conferences among colleagues.
The rollout of this feature has already commenced, and users can access it by selecting the “Working Location” option as an event type in their calendar. They can then choose a location and modify the date, time, or recurrence by interacting with the respective time element.
