Google has not yet reinstated the Pakistani mobile operators to download paid Google applications from the Google app store.
The daily newspaper “The News” claimed that despite government directions to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the direct carrier billing (DCB) system for downloading Google-purchased software via mobile phones for one month had not been restored.
The system will be restored within five to ten days, as stalled payments will be routed through a designated bank, which requires time to complete.
However, paid apps can be purchased using credit Cards or Debit Cards.
