Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward momentum for a second consecutive day, reaching fresh highs in the domestic market.
The price of gold increased by Rs 900 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs 481,862. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 771 to Rs 413,118.
Gold prices increased sharply in local market on Monday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs.7,700 to settle at Rs.480,962, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs.6,602 to Rs.412,347, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association pic.twitter.com/q3HrZNuyFn

Bullion market sources attributed the rise to higher international gold prices and steady local demand. Investors continue to turn to gold as a safe-haven asset amid ongoing global economic uncertainty.
