On Wednesday, gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, with 24-karat gold reaching Rs 251,900 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 2,200.

Dealers noted a corresponding rise in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which climbed by Rs 1,887 to Rs 215,964. The price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also increased, now trading at Rs 197,967.

These price movements are closely tied to fluctuations in the US Dollar, highlighting the strong correlation between currency value and gold prices. This connection emphasizes the influence of global economic conditions on the local gold market.0

The current price for 24-karat silver is Rs 2,780. Gold prices rose by $21 on the international market, reaching $2,412 per ounce.
