At a grassroots Republican rally in Washington DC, a supporter of Donald Trump showcased a 24-carat gold-plated piece of Trump artwork valued at $15,000.
According to The Sun (US), the artist, known as Xbala, exhibited his 3D-printed hat featuring the “Make America Great Again” slogan at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), a hub for staunch supporters of the former president.
Hamilton recounted the two-year journey to create this unique artefact, emphasizing its purpose to disseminate the “Make America Great Again” message through a blend of classic artistry and modern technology.
He detailed the complex creation process, from scanning an actual MAGA hat to 3D printing and casting it in bronze, before finishing it with a 24-karat gold surface.
The hat, signed by Trump in San Diego in 2015, was among various Trump-themed memorabilia showcased at CPAC, including branded cigars and hats with Trump’s signature blond hair and “Woke Tears Water” bottles.
Steve Bannon, Trump’s former Chief of Staff, recently proclaimed that MAGA could dominate for 50 years, hailing Trump as potentially the most successful American president since Abraham Lincoln in a speech aimed at his followers.
