The national government has decreased the prices of prominent ghee brands by Rs60 per kilogram at Utility Stores.
An official announcement confirms this price reduction for leading ghee brands available at utility stores.
The Utility Stores Corporation spokesperson stated that branded ghee costs have decreased by Rs 60 per kg. For those benefiting from the Benazir Income Support Program, ghee prices at utility stores have dropped from Rs 385 to Rs 325 per kg. Meanwhile, the prices have been adjusted for the general public from Rs 455 to Rs 395 per kg.
The revised prices are effective immediately, confirmed the spokesperson.
Furthermore, recent data from the Federal Board of Statistics indicates a downward trend in ghee and oil prices in the broader market for September.
