German Cyclist Robbed Near Lahore Airport While Traveling by Bicycle

A German tourist who travelled to Pakistan by bicycle was robbed near Lahore Airport.

According to the police, Berg Florian, 27, arrived in Pakistan from Germany on a bicycle. While camping on the roadside near the airport, he was attacked by armed individuals who stole his mobile phone and cash before fleeing the scene.

SP Cantt reported that the Northern Cantonment police had initiated action based on the tourist’s complaint. Meanwhile, DIG Operations Muhammad Faisal Kamran has demanded an immediate report from SP Cantt regarding the incident and issued instructions for the prompt arrest of the culprits.

Authorities emphasise the importance of ensuring the safety and security of Pakistan’s tourists. They are actively working to apprehend those responsible for the robbery. This incident highlights travellers’ challenges and the need for increased vigilance and security measures in tourist areas.
