Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif will leave for a day long visit to Kabul today (Thursday).
According to an Inter Services Public Relations ISPR release, “COAS Sharif will meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, Defence Minister, National Security Advisor and senior military officials”.
This is the first visit by Pakistan’s army chief to Afghanistan since formation of the new Afghan government.
