According to an ISPR press release, the military chief is visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Saudi defence minister Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif flew to Saudi Arabia earlier today on a two-day visit. During the visit the army chief will meet Saudi authorities.
Besides meeting Saudi authorities, ISPR said, the army chief is scheduled to attend closing ceremony of Saudi military exercise “Abdullah’s Sword.”
