French firefighter and professional stuntman Jonathan Vero, 39, has boldly broken two Guinness World Records, demonstrating his impressive command over the fire. Wearing a protective suit, Vero ran a great distance of 893 feet while set on fire, without using oxygen, according to UPI reports.
Remarkably, he completed the first 328 feet in a swift 17 seconds, setting another record for the fastest 100-meter sprint while fully ablaze, without oxygen.
Before Vero, these records were held by British man Antony Britton, who had covered a distance of 670 feet and completed the first 100 meters in 24.58 seconds. Vero has always been captivated by fire, and his record-breaking achievement affirms his lifelong fascination and proficiency with it, as he admitted to GWR.
