A Pakistani killed in the UAE missile debris incident has raised the total death toll to four amid recent regional tensions. Officials confirmed the latest casualty on Thursday, as authorities began arrangements to repatriate the body to Pakistan for burial.
The incident occurred in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the risks posed by ongoing missile activity in the region.
Authorities reported a tragedy on Sweihan Street, a mixed residential and industrial area in the northeastern part of Abu Dhabi. Debris fell after air defence systems intercepted a ballistic missile, and these falling fragments resulted in fatalities and injuries on the ground.
Officials confirmed that the incident also resulted in the death of an Indian national. Additionally, three individuals from Emirati, Jordanian, and Indian backgrounds sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi stated that it is working closely with the UAE authorities. Officials are providing support to the victim’s family during this difficult time. The embassy also confirmed that arrangements are underway to repatriate the deceased’s body to Pakistan.
Earlier incidents in Dubai and other parts of Abu Dhabi had already claimed the lives of three Pakistani nationals.
Due to the recent tragedy, the total number of deaths in Pakistan has risen to four. These incidents are linked to ongoing regional tensions involving Iran, which continue to affect the surrounding areas. Authorities are staying alert as the situation develops.
