At least four people, among them two alleged kidnappers, were killed in sporadic incidents of violence in Karachi on Wednesday.
According to police and rescue officials, two ‘kidnappers’ were killed in encounter with police when the law-enforces raided a house to free a two-year-old abducted girl in Korangi Industrial area this morning.
Police said the alleged kidnapers were identified as Anwaar-ul-Haq and Bilal Ali, whereas two of their accomplices managed to flee.
Two other persons were shot dead in different firing incidents in Orangi Town and Lyari.
A child was injured in a ‘ball bomb explosion’ in Surjani Town, police said, adding that it was a locally-made bomb which exploded in hands of a minor boy.
