Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is all set to lay foundation stone of two coal-fired power plants at Qadirabad in Sahiwal district of Punjab today.
Each plant has a capacity to generate 660 megawatt electricity. The project, run by a consortium of Chinese companies, will be completed by Nov 2016.
Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, will accompany the PM in the foundation-laying ceremony.
