Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula One, appeared alongside an Apple TV+ executive on Tuesday during the streaming platform’s inaugural press day in Santa Monica.
During the event, the two discussed several topics, including the future of the Formula 1 film franchise. The conversation turned to the possibility of a sequel to the F1 movie directed by Joseph Kosinski.

The Apple TV executive read the question, noting its popularity, and asked whether a sequel was in development. Domenicali responded briefly, telling fans to “stay tuned.”
He later explained that while discussions may take place, the team is taking time to absorb the success of the first movie. He described the project as unique and said any follow-up would need to meet a very high standard.
