Karachi: A former senior superintendent of police was killed and his wife injured on Friday when unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in Karachi.
The police officer, identified as Ejaz Haider who served as an SSP in Hyderabad, died on the spot as the militants fled after targeting his vehicle near Pehlwan Goth in Gulistan-e-Johar area of the city.
Police confirmed that the slain officer’s wife was also injured in the attack.
