Matthew Manhard, a former housekeeper for Khloe Kardashian, has filed a lawsuit against her, alleging that he was wrongfully terminated after suffering a knee injury.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Manhard asserts that his employment with Kardashian lasted from January 2019 to November 2022, and his employment tenure was a sham, “A complete nightmare.”
After Manhard suffered a knee injury and attempted to return to work, he claims Kardashian fired him. He claims Kardashian kept him so busy with work that he frequently could not take legally mandated breaks. In addition, despite the rough he worked 12-hour days, she allegedly refused to pay him overtime.
However, Kardashian’s legal counsel has denied these allegations, stating that Manhard was “properly classified and compensated for his role” and that the allegations are false. “It’s regrettable that a former employee would choose this path.”
The lawsuit against Kardashian is the most recent of many legal issues involving the family.
Kim Kardashian was sued last year for allegedly not paying her former maintenance and gardening staff. Khloe is Kim Kardashian’s sister.
Although Kardashian has not publicly addressed the lawsuit, her legal team is expected to do so in court. However, as the case is still pending, it is unclear when a decision will be reached.
Rob Kardashian, their brother, has recently been the subject of multiple lawsuits, including one filed by his ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna, who accused him of battery and assault.
