Five key leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from Punjab will announce to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today (Tuesday).
According to sources, former federal minister Nazar Muhammad Gondal, former provincial minister and president of PPP’s Okara chapter, Asharf Khan Sohna, former state minister Samsam Bukhari, former MNA from Narowal Chaudhry Tariq Anees and PPP ticket-holder from Okara Arif Lashari have decided to leave PPP and decided to join PTI.
The decision was taken after the party leadership failed in addressing reservations over PPP Punjab President Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo
These leaders formally announce their decision of joining the PTI ranks in a meeting with the party chief Imran Khan in Islamabad later today.
