At least five terrorists were killed, and a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in North Waziristan’s Jhallar Algad in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO).
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Jhallar Algad, North Waziristan District.
During the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists. Troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Resultantly, 5 x terrorists got killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens.
However, during an intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Nasir Khan (age 25 years, resident of South Waziristan District), having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.”
