Five persons were killed and four others were injured in different firing and other violent incidents in Karachi on Monday.
Police said that two persons named Jafar and Kashif were shot dead by unknown persons at Kati Pahari area of North Nazimabad.
Unknown terrorists stormed a bakery in the jurisdiction of Azizabad Police Station and opened fire due to which four persons were injured. The wounded were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in which two of the wounded, named Fida Hussain and Zeeshan, succumbed to their injuries. The slain men were the owner and an employee of the bakery respectively.
The body of a woman, with her throat slit, was found in a house near Bin Qasim Railway Station.
One person was killed and another was injured while resisting a robbery attempt in Landhi Industrial Area.
