Five children have died of Malaria in the Kunraj area of Lasbela district in Balochistan province. Officials in the health department have confirmed the death of these children.
They said that an epidemic of the malaria disease broke out in two villages of the Kunraj area of Lasbela district, causing the death of at least five children.
“Five children have died of an epidemic disease in villages including Sahib Khan Goth and Omar Khan Goth in the Kunraj area, some 180 kilometers off Othal, the district headquarters of Lasbela district,” they said.
People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) teams have been dispatched to the affected areas. Other infected children were being referred to Karachi, said the officials.
