Thar famine: Yet another 5 children die in Mithi

At least five more children died of malnutrition and related diseases in drought-hit Tharparkar earlier today.

Five toddlers who died at Civil Hospital Mithi today aged one to five days, raising the death toll to 64 in the current month.

Last week, Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said that special funds are being allocated for Thar to cope with the current situation and to provide better health facilities to the people.
