Further troubling was the discovery of expired medications being sold without appropriate packaging or expiry dates indicated, presenting severe health risks to unsuspecting consumers.
In response to these findings, the FIA has collected samples of all confiscated medicines and sent them to a laboratory for detailed analysis to ensure they meet safety standards and comply with health regulations. This step is part of the broader efforts to safeguard public health and enforce stringent controls over regional pharmaceutical practices.
