Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted the interim challan U/s 173 to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
Due to security reason, the court proceedings will start from May 12 in the premises of Adiala Jail.
The FIA submitted challan for the seventh time in the ATC, charging Mohsin Ali with the murder of Imran Farooq, while declaring Moazzam Ali Khan and Khalid Shamim as facilitators.
In september 2010, Mohsin and Kashif Kamran stabbed Imran Farooq to death in Edgware, North West London. While Moazzam Ali Khan arranged logistics and provided financial assisted for the assassination.
The Joint Investigation report revealed that MQM chief Altaf Hussain and other leader Mohammad Anwar used to consider Imran Farooq a threat to the party.
The court ordered that copies of interim challan be sent to lawyers of the accused before the trial commences.
