Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal experienced a theft incident where his mobile phone was stolen at the funeral prayers for PML-N MPA Rana Afzal Hussain in Sheikhupura.
Following the incident, Punjab Police have been actively trying to locate the stolen mobile phone, employing various methods to trace it. They remain optimistic about recovering the device shortly and are continuing their efforts to apprehend the pickpocket responsible.
In related news, the late Rana Afzal Hussain, whose funeral Ahsan Iqbal was attending, passed away due to a heart attack at his residence. He was a prominent figure, serving as the elder brother of the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, and father to MNA Rana Atiq Anwar.
Law enforcement successfully apprehended a mobile thief in a separate incident at Data Darbar. After a citizen reported his phone stolen while visiting Data Darbar, police utilized CCTV footage and investigative resources to capture the suspect. The mobile phone was recovered and returned to the owner within 24 hours of the theft being reported.
