Lahore: Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has frozen all bank accounts of cricketer Muhammad Hafeez over non-payment of taxes.
According to FBR sources, Muhammad Hafeez is a defaulter of Rs4.2 million in the form of income tax. the sources also added that formal letter has also been written to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Sui Northern regarding Muhammad Hafeez.
Yesterday, FBR also confiscated Misbah-ul-Haq’s SUV and later on released his vehicle after due verification.
