Pakistani artist Fawad Khan has left India after threats from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
MNS had threatened Pakistani actors if they didn’t leave India within 48 hours i.e. by September 25.
Indian Director Karan Johar had already made it clear that Fawad won’t be part of the film’s promotions.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Friday had set a 48-hour deadline for all Pakistani artists working currently in India to leave the country amid rising tension between the nuclear-armed neighbouring countries

Amey Khopkar of the MNS Chitrapat Sena warned the Pakistani actors and sai “We gave a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or MNS will push them out,” said
Amey Khopkar even threatened to beat up Pakistani artists and all those who cast them in their Indian productions.
“Pakistani artists will be beaten up and so will the producers and directors,” he added.
