Khan’s comeback, opposite Vaani Kapoor in Aarti S Bagdi’s romantic drama, has stirred buzz and backlash. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) vowed on April 2 to block the film, reigniting tensions over Pakistani artists in India. A 2016 unofficial ban followed political spats, though the Bombay High Court rejected a formal ban in 2023.
Fawad Khan’s Acting Journey
Khan made his Bollywood debut with Khoobsurat in 2014 and gained recognition for his performance in Kapoor & Sons in 2016. He also had a cameo role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
