Fátima Bosch from Mexico has been crowned Miss Universe 2025, succeeding Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer as the new global titleholder. The coronation event took place at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, Thailand. Bosch triumphed in the final round over Thailand, the Philippines, Venezuela, and the Ivory Coast.
The 25-year-old winner delivered a powerful message during the final question-and-answer segment. She stated, “Know that you are enough, don’t be afraid to be yourselves… I want to bring love where there is none.” Her victory marks a significant milestone for her home region.
Fátima Bosch’s win carries profound historical significance for Mexico. She is the first woman from Tabasco to win the Miss Universe Mexico title. Now she is the first to secure the international crown. This achievement places her among an elite group of Mexican women who have won the prestigious pageant.

Born on May 19, 2000, in Teapa, Tabasco, Bosch comes from a family with deep roots in beauty pageants. Her mother, Vanessa Fernández Balboa, hails from a family with numerous participations in state competitions. This inspired Bosch’s early interest in the pageant world.
The new Miss Universe brings substantial academic credentials to her new role. She studied Fashion Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana. Additionally, she furthered her education at two international institutions: the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan and the Lyndon Institute in the United States.
