In St. Louis, Missouri, an incident at a Jack in the Box restaurant escalated when Talanye L. Carter allegedly ran over the store manager following a dispute over a missing chicken strip and lack of ranch sauce.
As reported by Fox News, a probable cause affidavit was filed in St. Louis Circuit Court, and the altercation occurred on July 16. Carter had returned to the restaurant to complain about her incomplete order. The manager, whose name remains undisclosed, had attempted to resolve the issue by replacing the missing item.
However, Carter’s frustration escalated over the unprovided ranch sauce, leading her to spit in the manager’s face. As the manager attempted to note Carter’s license plate number using a different exit, Carter confronted her. She then struck the manager with her shoulder.
The situation intensified when Carter returned to her vehicle, reversed, and struck the manager, injuring her left foot and ankle and causing her to fall to the ground.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office has since charged Carter with second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. She is detained without bond, pending a detention hearing scheduled for July 30 and a court appearance on August 20.
