The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faryal Talpur’s convoy was attacked with stones in Kotli area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

According to reports, unidentified persons pelted stones at Talpur’s convoy when she was on her way to Kotli from Mirpur.

MNA Faryal, sister of former president Asif Ali, is in AJK for electioneering.

Two PPP activists sustained injuries and some vehicles were damaged in the attack.

Political Secretary AJK government has alleged that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers attacked Talpur’s convey and also abducted two PPP activists.

Meanwhile, PML-N leaders have refuted PPP claims and accused People’s Party of discharging firearms.
