Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday nominated Raja Farooq Haider as the prime minister of Azad Kashmir.
A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of the parliamentary committee of PML (N) Azad Kashmir was attended by the PML(N) central leadership and the newly elected parliamentarians of Azad Kashmir.
The Prime Minister-designate Raja Farooq Haider said in the meeting that he will come up to the confidence of the party leadership.
He said his agenda will be merit, good governance and zero tolerance for corruption in the region.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan addressing the meeting said that Pakistan will continue to extend moral, diplomatic and political support to the people of Kashmir in their struggle for the right of self determination.
Sharif felicitated the newly elected members of the AJK Legislative Assembly and the Prime Minister-designate.
