At least six more children died of starvation in famine-struck Thar today, bringing the cumulative death toll to 158 in 69 days.
The deceased children include a 21-day old Ramesh, Qeemat and a four-month old Resham who died at civil hospital Mithi.
Children continue to die in Civil Hospital Mithi and Chachro Hospital whereas no substantial measures were being taken to counter the situation.
60,000 affected families of Thar await wheat aid.
