The federal government has announced three official holidays for Eid-ul-Azha, as approved by the Prime Minister. The designated holidays will extend from June 17 to June 19.

Considering that June 15 and June 16 are weekends, the total break for Eid-ul-Azha will be five days.

The Cabinet Division previously proposed these dates to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This extended break is intended to provide citizens ample time to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with family and friends.

In Dubai, all private educational institutions, including schools, universities, and nurseries, will close from June 15 to June 18 to observe Eid-ul-Azha and reopen on June 19, as stated by the UAE Knowledge and Human Development Authority.

The Dubai government has also declared the same holiday period for government employees. Work will resume on Wednesday, June 19.
