Recent announcements reveal a three-day shutdown for banks and financial institutions throughout Pakistan. This extended break results from a blend of the usual weekend holidays and a special event.
While Fridays typically conclude the banking week, this week will have an additional day off due to overlapping significant occasions. Saturday and Sunday are the standard weekly breaks, Monday, August 14th, will mark the celebration of Independence Day.
Notably, only a few bank branches will function on Saturday for immediate banking requirements, but most will remain closed. Normal banking operations will resume on Tuesday.
