Rawalpindi: European Union Special Representative and Head of the European Union Delegation for Afghanistan Ambassador Franz-Michael Mellibin called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to a statement by the military’s public relations wing, matters relating to regional security situation were discussed in the meeting.
During the meeting, Ambassador Franz-Michael Mellibin appreciated the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Pakistan’s efforts for regional stability, said the ISPR statement.
